Axe Throwing?  Is that safe?

Yes! We let you throw axes here. Don’t worry, you will be provided with an experienced staff member for your entire time to cater to all your axe throwing needs.  Come prepared to throw axes, cheer your fellow axe throwers on, and enjoy your time at our facility. Do not expect to play on your phone and sit in a chair with a sad face on. Also, closed-toe shoes are a MUST!

How does it work?

Book your party online or by phone to ensure space is available for the date and time you want.  Normal sessions are between 1 & 2 hours long.  On days when walk-ins are available, they may be done in 1or 2-hour sessions as well. Have any questions?  Want to book a special or large party?  Want to book an event outside our normal business hours?  Please call, and every attempt will be made to accommodate your requests.

What should I expect during my time at Jersey Axe House?

Our purpose here is to have you learn and become experienced in throwing axes.  Come out to celebrate an event or get friends and/or family together for some healthy competition.  You will be handling and throwing axes.  You will learn how to throw and how to play some of the many axe throwing games.  Please take into consideration your wardrobe when you come.  Loose-fitting clothing, high heels, big hair, and Mr. T jewelry may look nice, but may not be the best outfit for throwing axes.  Closed-toed shoes are a must.

How old do you have to be?

There is no age requirement for throwing at Jersey Axe House. However, please consider what your child is capable of before bringing them to our facility. If you do not allow your child to use sharp objects at home, do not allow them to use them here. Safety is our #1 priority, and if we believe someone is incapable of throwing safely, they will not be allowed to participate. We have hosted many events with young participants, and if you have more questions about this, please call us.

If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Can I bring food and drinks?

Yes!  You may bring food and drinks to enhance your axe throwing experience.  You will be provided with a small dedicated space to enjoy your refreshments.  A 12-course meal may not be the most appropriate choice, but pizza, finger foods, and sandwiches work great.  For larger parties, please call to accommodate arrangements for large spreads such as Sternos or food tables.  Please refrain from bringing ice.

Can I bring alcohol?

Yes!  Jersey Axe House is a BYOB facility.  You may bring beer, wine, hard seltzers, champagne, and other similar factory-pre-made drinks.

***ABSOLUTELY NO HARD LIQUOR!!!***

This includes drinks you mix at home and bring in an unmarked container.  Due to insurance reasons, hard liquor cannot be in our building.  If you bring hard liquor, you will be asked to return it to your car (this includes gifts).  If you consume hard liquor while you are here, you will be asked to leave.  This is for your safety and everyone’s enjoyment.

As always, Please Drink Responsibly.

Can I bring my own axe?

If you are an experienced axe thrower and have an axe that meets the guidelines of the World Axe Throwing League, then you may bring it.  It will be subject to inspection by your host, and if it does not meet the guidelines or is deemed unsafe you will not be able to throw it here.  If you do not know if you are an experienced axe thrower, then you are probably not one.  We will gladly make you one, and recommend many axes you may purchase and enjoy.  Please do not bring a rusty axe that has been in your shed for years or a tomahawk you bought at a flea market.

What if I or some of my group members arrive late?

When you book at Jersey Axe House, you are given a time slot to enjoy the sport of axe throwing.  Arriving late will not only take away from your enjoyment but may also take away from other customers who have arrived on time.

Customers who have not booked out an entire lane who arrive up to 15 minutes after their scheduled time will be able to join the groups already in progress.

Customers who have booked out an entire lane may arrive up to 30 minutes late. If some of your group arrives on time and other members come past the 30 minutes, they will be allowed to participate.

Arriving after these times will result in having to be rescheduled on a later date at a non-prime booking time (i.e. not Friday or Saturday even if your original booking was for one of these days)

If you arrive late, the experience will have to be rushed and you will miss out on what our facility and the sport of axe throwing has to offer.  You will not get what you paid for, and most likely not have a very good time.  Most times we are unable to allow you to go past your scheduled time slot due to other bookings.

What we are really trying to say here is, "Don't Be Late!!!"

Yes... before we end up a hashtag, of course, we understand sh*t happens.  Use that thing you are glued to 24/7 and give us a call or shoot us an email.  We are not mean.  We are in the business of making people happy and giving them a good time.  We will try to be accommodating as much as we can.

If you are a no-call no-show, then you will also be a no-refund no-rebook.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible.  Refunds or rebookings will be issued up to 48 hours prior to your booking start time.  Less than 48 hours notice will result in a rebooking or credit for a later date.  The more time you give us, the more flexible we can be. CARD PROCESSING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Can people come to watch who have not paid and are not participating?

Unfortunately, this is a tricky situation for us due to insurance reasons.  Please contact us to discuss the issue further.
